Fall is for Football, college and pro. Winter wraps up football and gears us up for hockey and basketball. And then, it's Spring! Time for Baseball! The girls tolerate the other sports, but both are really loving the Rockies! Which makes our hearts happy!
So, welcome back Rockies Baseball! We were so excited for their first game last Friday - and a big W to go with it! But we could hardly wait for the Home Opener on Monday. PURPLE MONDAY, and this family brought it on! We had purple even in the most unmentionable of places!
But the highlight was our Home Opener Dinner! The menu included:
- Dinger Dogs (Dinger is the Rockies' Mascot)
- Fly Ball Fries
- Fast Ball Frozen Fruit Cups
- Grand Slam Lemonade
- In-Field Dirt Dessert (I wanted to make Mile-High Mudslide Pie)
I wish we had pictures of more than our food, but like I said, it was the highlight! The game was a huge disappointment, but here's to a great season! We're hoping to bring the girls to another game this summer, and maybe get ourselves to a few games as well!
