We have really been enjoying our little girls. Catherine's personality is starting to come out, and Isabella loves playing with "Catrin". Catherine thinks that the sun rises and sets with her big sister, and Isabella is very concerned with what her little sister shouldn't put in her mouth. Mind you, it's just fine and dandy for Isabella to suck her thumb, but the moment that Catherine's fingers get anywhere near her own mouth, Isabella is right there to rip them out and tell her no. We've got quite a lil' mama on our hands!
This is the outfit that Isabella picked out yesterday. On days that I know we're not going anywhere, I'm totally fine with letting Isabella pick her own clothes. She chose a tutu, a yellow tank top, and slippers. She ended up wearing her yellow "Dutch" wooden shoe slippers, because they are yellow, and this little one loves everything yellow! She told me that she was a pretty princess ballerina, but that Catherine was not because she can't wear tutu skirts. "Catrin's a baby, I'm a princess."
When I checked on my baby yesterday, this is what I found. Don't be alarmed, her face was not covered by the blanket, it just looks like it from this angle. The funny part about this picture is Catherine's feet, which are laying on top of her bumpers! I usually find Catherine mixed in with all of her little lambies.
I took this picture at our friend's house the other night. Isabella loves to hold Catherine, and for the most part, I think Catherine loves it too. Any chance to pull Isabella's hair makes it worth it.
