Winding Down

My apologies that it has been so long since my last post. The third trimester hit hard! I have felt so good for most of this pregnancy that at times I almost forgot I was growing a little girl! But, now, there's no forgetting that there's a little someone inside my tummy. She moves all the time, and pushed up, down, and every other way possible. She will often times respond to Isabella when she's singing and playing. So, as the pregnancy is winding down, we are gearing up to be a family of four. If Miss Catherine is anything like her big sister, she'll be joining the world in 6 days. Fortunately, I don't think she'll be here that early...

Isabella continues to amaze us! She is starting to learn some of her colors, and is even counting - you know - 2, 2, 6, 9... She is really into her babies, and is just a regular little mama. She carts her babies around the house with bottles and burp cloths, ready to snuggle, rock, feed, and burp her little ones. Isabella loves to sit on her potty, but has only gone once, and that was a "mess." This is all fine with me. I am not quite ready to focus in on potty training. She has also discovered Disney movies. It all started with an obsession with Tinker Bell. From there we have turned our attention to Finding Nemo, The Little Mermaid, and just recently Cinderella. She also likes Winnie the Pooh and Mickey Mouse. Everyday she tries to get me to cave and let her watch Sleeping Beauty, but I just think that movie is a little too scary.

Anthony and I continue to plug along. Catherine's room is done, and now we just need to get the furniture. The car seat is installed and ready for a newborn! All of the clothes are washed and ready to be put into the dresser. Blankets, towels, and burp cloths are also washed and waiting. Now, we just need to make sure we're ready...

Thanks for bearing with this long break. Don't give up on me. I will update!

As much as I can't wait to see little Catherine, I hope she waits longer than six more days! That seems amazing to me! Not too much longer! We are so excited for this new chapter in your life!

Good to have you back!! Sorry the last trimester has been so rough. Glenn bounced around so much inside that I took to calling him Taz. In fact, he had a bruise on his knee when he was born, and I was sure that was where he kept bouncing off my rib cage. Isabella is going to be a great big sister!
