Imagine our surprise when early Friday morning we found a little guy very similar to this in our backyard. Anthony was coming back upstairs from eating breakfast and happened to peak outside when he noticed a deer popping over our fence and into our yard. We back up to a very busy street, and although we've seen fox, coyotes, bunnies, and other prairie animals, we have never witnessed deer! He scampered off on to said busy street while I was getting the camera, but got back on the sidewalk before any harm came to him.

I have not seen any dear in our neighborhood in quite some time. It amazes me how they just turn up in subdivisions, but then again, the subdivisions were their home, before we came along.
We saw one at the park a couple of weeks ago and I almost hit one on Arapahoe road last week. I think they are on the move - which means the coyotes will probably follow!
