3 Nasty Words

Red Jell-O Vomit.

Need I say more?

It seems that the wintertime plague is continuing its attack at our house.

Isabella's Sunday afternoon was cut short when she woke up throwing up.

The good news is that Anthony and I knew what we were doing.

The bad news is that she ate red Jell-O Monday morning.

After explaining to my mom that I wasn't sure what I would do without Anthony, it happened - red everywhere.

The bad news is that it got on Isabella, kitty, the sofa pillow, and me.

The good news is I figured out how to handle the situation (baby in the bath, clothes in the sink).

If you've ever wondered how to get red Jell-O out of your clothes, this is what I did:
1) Peel it off your body without getting any in your hair.
2) Wash in hot water with regular detergent AND oxi-clean. I'm telling you, this stuff is amazing!
3) Dry.

YEA!!!

So, my words of wisdom from this experience are:

"Clean chunks are better than smelly chunks"

This refers to throwing all of the clothes, towels, kitties, bunnies, bears, books, sheets, etc. straight into the washing machine. Most of the time everything will melt away, never to be seen again!

Anthony was curious to know how often kids will throw up.

I'm interested in knowing if I too will catch this...

There are certain things that you don't want to see again. Anything with red dye seems to be one of them. Makes me wonder what color we are inside after all the kool-aid and jello I consumed as a kid. Hope Isabella is on the mend soon and that you don't catch it!

So disgusting!

I do the same thing - I just throw everything in the wash, chunks and all - there's no way I'm rinsing off vomit!

I hope you guys are feeling better...
