Quick recap:
Isabella woke up Monday night with the stomach flu. Before she went to bed we were playing and laughing and having a wonderful time. About 30 minutes after she went to sleep, she woke up screaming. I went in to check on her, and quickly realized that she wasn't just mad to be in her bed.
The puking continued for many hours! At one point I had vomit all over me and Anthony had it in his mouth...
This is when we called for reinforcement: GRANDMA BECKY, HEEEEELP!!!
Grandma Becky came over and help Isabella while Anthony and I regrouped. We decided not to put her back in her bed, as it was easier to clean up if we wrapped her up in a towel and held her.
Finally, around 1:30 am, Isabella had gotten everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) out of her system, and both of us fell asleep in the other bedroom. We snuggled all night. When she woke up right before 8:00 am, she was up and ready to go. Mama, on the other-hand, was still so tired! But, we got up and at 'em for awhile. Luckily, Isabella took a nice long nap, and so did mama!
Today, we are all rested and ready to go! Both Anthony and I were very proud of ourselves that we made it through the first truly traumatic experience. We worked as a team, and neither one of us threw up! Yea for us!

Vomit is the worst! Yikes! I'm glad she's feeling better and proud that you guys made it through as a team! Great job!
That is so funny (not ha ha) because D got super sick and threw up from 4 pm until 7 pm on thursday (yes, Thanksgiving - lovely...). And then he was done, and the next day he was all better! And nobody else got sick! Hmmm.....
A 12 hour drive beats everything! How awful! Glad you're feeling better!
