If you know Anthony, you know that once he has his mind set on something, it's pretty much a law - in his mind anyway.
One of the "laws" in our family is that we do not, and I mean DO NOT begin any Christmas celebrating until AFTER Thanksgiving.
However, breaking everything that he has ever known or believed, we set up our Christmas Tree BEFORE Thanksgiving. We just weren't sure when we'd get to it if we didn't do it this weekend, so up it went!
The good news is that we get to enjoy the tree a little longer.
The tricky part will be keeping a little girl from pulling the lights off (we still wrap lights around our tree...) and playing with the pretties (ornaments).
I do love having the tree in the house, though! Something magical about it!

We also put our tree up this weekend since I have to work the holiday.. a first for us as well!
Nothing wrong with that! We actually put up both of ours last weekend since we'll be out there next week. Of course, Hayden has had the lights on every day. I agree that there is something magical about it and it is nice to enjoy it longer. Can't wait to see you all on Thursday!!
We get our tree this weekend! I can't wait! I've been restraining myself from getting out the decorations for weeks! It looks great!
