Chew You

After liberating Isabella from her afternoon nap today, I just happened to turn around. Immediately, something caught my eye. I did a double take and realized that my eyes had not mistaken me.

I shouldn't have been surprised. After all, as soon as Isabella wakes up, I imagine she does a little stretch, plays with her baby, reads her book, kicks her legs ferociously on her mattress, and stands up on the side of the crib closest to the door. The part I didn't realize is that ever since she figured out how to stand, she also figured out that her crib provides an excellent chew toy.

So, see if you can tell which rail is Isabella's favorite!

I remember those days. Hayden actually chewed a piece off the edge of his crib and we were worried that maybe he was lacking something in his diet that the wood was providing!!

Too funny!

It's amazing the things they like to chew on, isn't it?

Ryan teethed on a pine table of ours so we called him termite for awhile. One particular grocery shopping trip, Glenn put teeth marks in a can of tuna.
