Up She Goes!

We knew it was only a matter of time, and time doesn't stop, much to our dismay. So there I was, innocently sitting in my favorite chair. I glanced up to check on Isabella. I had to do a double take when I realized where she was. She had already climbed up the first two steps, and was attempting the third! I quickly grabbed the camera to record this momentous occasion so that I could then share it with you! This little girl is growing up way too fast! We're only 17 days away from her first birthday. How can this be? There are times when I look at Isabella and see a baby, and then the next moment I see a big girl! She continues to bring so much joy to Anthony and me. We have been truly blessed.

I remember Ryan was so fascinated with stairs as a baby when we went to visit my Mom. We lived in an apartment at the time. He went up the stairs over and over. Each time we brought him down, back up he went. Stairs are certainly a milestone in their development. Thanks for sharing!

Oh Way to go Isabella!!!!!! I can imagine what a shocker that was but she did a GREAT job! I bet she was sooooo proud of herself!! I'm proud of her! What another bittersweet milestone. Can it really be only one year and 16 days since we sat at Chik-fil-a and talked about how you would know if your water broke?

What a trooper! She made it all the way to the top so nonchalantly like an old pro. Not even a wobble or glance back - how very determined she is! Lydia tried the stairs the other day and apparently didn't realize that they are not quite the same as the floor - you can't turn around and start off the other way! So she crashed down about three steps before I could get to her. Obviously we aren't ready for the stairs yet at our house!
