Bowls, Shmowls

It was lunch time at the Alvino house. I had fixed a delightful chicken lunch of leftovers. Yummy!

I thought to myself, "I bet Isabella would like a little something to eat." In all honesty, I wanted to be sure she had a little snack so that she would leave me alone whilst I ate!

So, a bowl of Cheerios is what I handed my little darling. Now I know, I should have sat her in her highchair, but I considered this more of a snack, not her actual lunch.

So, there I was, munching on my chicken when I looked up and saw Isabella surrounded by Cheerios. The little bowl that had once been home to the little oat circles was sitting nearby. This is the exact reason why Isabella does not eat her actual meals out of bowls when feeding herself. She cannot be trusted. Everything is dumped out of the bowl as soon as she discovers that there is a bowl.

In all fairness, Isabella did eat every single Cheerio right off the floor, so there is nothing for her mama to pick up. And, she cleverly used the bowl as an instrumental banging device. We've got a winner!!!
